I’m a software and infrastructure delivery consultant with a background in database development and business intelligence. I have experience of - and opinions about - a wide range of tools and platforms, gained through working with teams solving a wide range of problems.

I’m also interested in the human aspects of software delivery and the application of systems thinking to the nebulously defined field of “DevOps”.

I present at conferences and user groups now and then, and I occasionally write things on other websites such as dev.to and Fedora Magazine. You can also find me on Twitter and LinkedIn, though it sometimes takes me a while to respond to notifications.
